Drama Digest-

IDOLiSH7’s rise to popularity begins after their first debut anniversary, which brings a lot of rivals. TRIGGER and Re: vale prove to be the biggest rivals of the band; it causes worries in their image and bonds. But IDOLiSH7 is determined to fight all the scandalous rumors and the difficulties they face to have a successful career.

The Feel-good Part-

The storyline is very well made, with both comical and absorbing scenes. It is thought-provoking to see the stark differences in the lives of young performers, who are enjoying their fame but fighting too to remain relevant in the business. This season took a turn from personal dramas of the characters that were beginning to feel underwhelming. The character development is fresh and positively contributes to the tone of the series.

The Disappointing Factor-

Although nicely portrayed, the story seldom fails to show depth in the characters present. It appears uninteresting in the second half. This series barely had any music in it. The way some tales were revealed felt disconnected from the rest of the story. They even felt like a drop in quality from the rest of the series. The antagonists felt bland and generic. The antagonists are an evil corporate executive and his group of manufactured idols.

In-Depth Analysis-

This story takes a good take on showcasing the harsh lives of performers who are constantly in the process of maintaining their reputation in the eyes of their audience. The internal and external battles they face in their daily lives are rightly depicted. Through IDOLiSH7, makers are successful in giving accurate facts but also inspire young entertainers to enter this field and follow their dreams. IDOLiSH7 features some of the most stunning visuals with everything from the character designs and movements to the brightness and backgrounds looking clean and refined.

Star Power-

Every seven members of the group have a different personality. While Iori Izumi is calm and polite, Tamaki Yotsuba is emotionally driven and aggressive. Tsumugi Takanashi, an inexperienced manager for this group, is responsible for helping them train and turn to famous idols while dealing with the hardships of the industry. The competing boy bands in the show also give out good songs.

Overall Opinion-

It is a recommended series to watch for being honest and an oddball among the conventional ones made.
