This is a deck about the world’s very first original superhero, whose name is Zero. Zero retires five years before the story to look after his younger sister. Zero’s real name is Lin Jie. He’s not very interested in being a hero anymore, but he can’t stand injustice.
The Feel-Good Factor
The series is a superhero series, something that we all love to watch. Also, there was a preview after the last episode of the first season, giving us a sneak peek of what the story could be like in the second season.
The Disappointing Factor
All those who’ve watched the series say that the story paces atrociously given its runtime of just 13 minutes per episode. Many characters are introduced out of nowhere with almost no backstory. The series had tried adding humour at regular intervals, but the jokes failed to make the audience laugh. Some scenes are cringeworthy enough to give the viewers second-hand embarrassment.

Lin Jie is a lazy man in his twenties who leads an ordinary life along with his little sister, Lin Wan, who’s looking for a job because his sister is forcing him to. Lin Jie had previously been known as Zero, who was the first true superhero in the world who used to save the world from evil powers. Five years before the story, Lin Jie retires as Zero as the number of monsters diminishes. As the world starts to exist in peace again, Lin Jie goes back to his everyday life. Five years later, meaning in current times, Lin Jie is leading an evderyday life. He is not so concerned about monsters and the safety of the world anymore. However, he can never tolerate any injustice happening to anyone, even today. The reason he had become Zero was that he was fascinated by superheroes as a child and wanted to become one due to his Chuunibyeou disease( A Japanese colloquial term which refers to people in teenage who want to desperately stand out from the rest of the crowd and have convinced themselves that they have hidden superpowers). Now that Lin Jie is back to his regular life, it encourages the villains to impact the globe with their evilness due to the absence of Zero. Slowly, numerous villains start to show up and try to destroy the world and humanity, and all the people around the world start wishing for Zero to come back and save them. As the destruction begins to grow, Lin Jie is compelled to become Zero again to protect the people who trust him and always have. Due to the inspiration that Zero provided the world, an association named the “Hero Association” was formed. The reason Zero was so powerful was that he had gained great control over magical weapons, which helped him exert soul-crushing pressure over the villains he was fighting.
Star Power
Nobody except the main character Lin Jie has any importance in the series. Hence, the star of the show undoubtedly has to be Lin Jie, aka Zero himself.
Overall Opinion
It’s an alright catch for somebody who’ll like to try it.
