Drama digest:

This story is a classic time travel of the protagonist. He travels back in time after his job as a video game maker ends. Unfortunately, due to his company going bankrupt. This is his story of discovering his true passion.

 Star power:

The story is based on an interesting and exciting time travel concept. The series tries to bestow upon the audience, some valuable life lessons, which is the most important thing to do as a series. The other aspects, such as music, character design, etc, are standard.

The disappointing factor:

The ending felt rushed for a good premise like this one. Besides the 5-6 main characters, no other character gets a proper explanation for existing in the story. Also, for the main characters, there is a lack of character development. It also gives out a message of regretting your current choices and going back to the past to correct your mistakes. Even though it was fictional, this particular message is the wrong one.

In-depth analysis:

Kyouya Hashiba, the lead of the series, is a 28-year-old ordinary man. He is unemployed due to quitting his salaryman job. The reason for his resignation was that he had gotten a job of his choice, which is a video game maker. He had always been aspiring to become a video game maker, and he finally achieved an opportunity. Unfortunately, after some days, the video game company went bankrupt, which leads to Kyuoya losing his job. After a few days, he meets an ex-college mate, named Eiko Kawasegawa, who is the leader of a game company as well. Eiko offers a job to Kyuoya, and he happily accepts it but somehow it gets cancelled. Kyuoya becomes unemployed again. Due to his fluctuating employment, his mother and father pressurise him to get a profound and stable job. Kyuoya gets frustrated and disappointed in himself by everything happening to him. At night, when Kyuoya goes to sleep, he suddenly travels back ten years in time. He travels back to the time when he was just graduating from his university called Oonaka University of Art. Shocked at first, Kyuoya thinks of this as an opportunity to begin again. So, he started pursuing the field of art that he always wanted to, instead of the business school he had gone to. There he meets his classmate,

Eiko Kawasegawa- the friend who has offered him an internship at present,

Shino- the future wife of Kyuoya and the mother to his daughter,

Nanako Kogure- An innocent girl who had feelings for Kyuoya, and,

Tsurayuki Rokuonji- A novel writer.

As he had gotten the opportunity of choosing his life again, him, along with his classmates, formed a group and did many projects together. They all set out on a new venture together and work hard towards the future of their dreams.

Star power:

The only person, the story is based on is the protagonist, Kyuoya Hashiba. The entire story revolves around his past, his present, his feelings, his whereabouts, his helpful nature, and his unfortunate luck. The story was too focused on Kyuoya to let any other character shine.

Overall opinion:

The interesting aspect of the story is the time travel. Even though, given an opportunity to redo his life, the protagonist still chooses almost the same things he had chosen before, which can seem disappointing. It can be a good watch for someone experiencing a similar phase in life.
