The show trains and, in the process, selects dancers to be professional dancers in the real world. The show brings people in from all backgrounds and dancers of all different styles to compete with each other in an episode-by-episode challenge competition show to be the best dancer in the industry. Who will rise to the top? How will they fight to the finish? And who will be the best of the best? Watch the show and find out.

The Feel-Good Part

Dance competition shows are always interesting to watch. The quality of dance shows depends on the quality of the dance and the dance performances, and Born To Dance does not disappoint. There are so many styles of dance and so many people with unique takes that it makes it impossible not to be impressed by the sheer talent the girls have to offer. The show’s training and mentorship format is also very nice since the girls grow while on the show and sharpen their skills to the max so that they can continue to grow and learn even if they do not make it all the way to the end.

The Disappointing Factor

The disappointing part of the show doesn’t necessarily outweigh the good parts of the show. There is a lot that you can take away from it. There is a bit of a slump in the middle, but that is covered up by the sheer talent that is portrayed on screen. Dance competitions and reality TV, in general, may not be for everyone, especially if you are not interested in the subject of dance or reality TV. However, that should not stop you from checking the show out simply because it portrays really good talented individuals just trying to achieve their dreams.

In-Depth Analysis

The dance industry is harsh, and maybe reality TV shows aren’t the best gateway into the industry, but it is a gateway nonetheless. The show can teach us a lot about stardom and what it takes to be in the show. Even if it is just a show, it is still an excellent display of talent and skills. What’s more? The show also has wonderful mentors and mentorship. This allows contestants to grow rather than just being judged on what they already have. Reality TV shows that use the mentorship format are definitely lovely to watch, because they show genuine care for the contestants that participate.
