The direction of the movie is truly commendable, which made the audience feel empathy toward the hard work of the girl group. The movie successfully depicts the many struggles which goes behind the scene for the perfect stage on screen.

In-Depth Analysis

I*ZONE is a girl group that debuted in 2018 and was formed as a result of the survival competition reality show called Produce 48, which had 96 contestants. The group disbanded in 2018, the girl group, despite being active for such a short period had a huge impact on the music industry across the globe breaking and creating many records. The members of the group remain impactful and relevant even after the groups disband, while some of them have debuted in new girl groups. The documentary film revolves around the girl group’s first-ever concert which was held in Seoul, South Korea. The movie shares some of the most precious behind-the-scenes of the concert along with the footage of the stages. This is one of the few documentary films of a K-pop group that has been released in the theatres.

The movie stars all the 12 members of the girl group which consists of, Kwon Eun-bi, the leader of the group, Japanese member, Sakura Miyawaki, Kang Hye-won, Choi Ye-na, Lee Chae-Yeon, Kim Chae-won, Kim Min Ju, another Japanese member Nako Yabuki, and Hitomi Honda, Jo-Yu-Ri, An Yu-jin, and Jo Jang Won Young, who is also the youngest of all them.

I*ZONE is a popular and loved girl group right from its debut, their first concert had sold out where they performed two of their newest song which was released right in the concert. The documentary film features the members practicing hard for their newest choreographies, recording songs all while preparing for their concert. Eyes On Me is a movie that will touch your heart even if you are not a fan of the girl group, and give you a glimpse of what goes behind to pull a successful concert of a K-pop group.
