Movie Digest

Maho Nakagoshi is a wedding planner. She is in charge of Isikawa Akihito and Nitta Haruka’s wedding. On the day of their wedding, Nakagoshi Maho encounters several issues, including the appearance of Nitta Haruka’s ex-boyfriend Yashiro Yuya. Can Nakagoshi Maho, a wedding planner who says no to her clients, manage all of the obstacles that arise and ensure that Akihito and Haruka have the loveliest wedding possible?

The Feel-Good Part

The film stands out for being quick-witted and even laugh-out-loud amusing. However, it helps to have attended (or endured) a traditional Japanese wedding celebration, which incorporates elements from both the West (cake cutting) and Japan (the couple’s bosses each giving remarks) to grasp the gags.

The Disappointing Factor

The film stands out for being quick-witted and even laugh-out-loud amusing. However, it helps to have attended (or endured) a traditional Japanese wedding celebration, which incorporates elements from both the West (cake cutting) and Japan (the couple’s bosses each giving remarks) to grasp the gags.

In-Depth Analysis

The principal couple, Haruka Nitta (Nagisa Sekimizu) and Akihito Ishikawa (Tomoya Nakamura), arrange their big celebration in this novel. Haruka is excited by the numerous decisions that must be taken, but Akihito is bored, though he wisely never shows it. We also got a glimpse into their pasts, including Haruka’s long-term relationship with Yuya (Takanori Iwata), a former college classmate, which ended abruptly.

Yuya is not invited, as one might imagine. He decides to crash the wedding with the help of two happy-go-lucky companions when he hears about it.

Star Power

The picture stays firmly grounded in the real-world agonies and ecstasies of Japanese-style weddings, thanks to Shinohara’s relatably frazzled performance as Maho, both prospective wedding planners and future wedding guests will benefit from seeing it.

Overall Opinion

The comedy peppered throughout the film will make you laugh out loud. Your heart will race as you navigate the surprising twists and turns. Finally, you will be grateful for the kind, beautiful, and poignant wedding celebration.
