Movie Digest
“Electromagnetic King Pili Family” revolves around Liu Lei, who was born with superpowers. One day, he loses control of his power and causes an accident, which ends up killing his father. Since then, he closed his heart and lived in misery. He loses his control and is left with nothing but pain, until an equally charged girl, Xiao Bao, shows up. He regains his ability, but the dark forces have their eyes on him.
The Feel-Good Part
The story is excellent and creative. This film gives you a good laugh at times, and everyone loves a protagonist with superpowers to save the day.
The Disappointing Factor
Special effects are of poor quality. Regarding acting, everyone except the protagonist did a great job which makes this film bad.
In-Depth Analysis
This is a Sci-Fi movie focusing on comedy. Liu Lei is born with an electricity superpower. He helps around and catches bad guys with his power. All his glory turns into misery when he loses control and accidentally kills his dad. As a side effect, he loses his power and lives in grief. He regains his ability when Xiao Bao enters his life. This film has a good story and humor. The effects are sloppy, and out of date. It didn’t reach its actual potential. It is dragged and the acting is not satisfactory.
Star Power
Overall, acting is average. Vannes Wu’s acting is not up to the mark. Compared to Vannes Wu, Zhang Xiao Fei, Bai Kai Nan, and Liu Guan Cheng did great.

Overall, this film is average in terms of story and acting. It is watchable only once. It is funny at times but not good enough.
