The female lead is raised in a misogynistic society and is always expected to submit, and she does that till a certain point. it was just too much when her boss acts like a total jerk, her husband brings another woman into their house, and even her mother-in-law treated her like she doesn’t mean anything, and then again, her husband abused her so badly. when she goes to her home even her father doesn’t support her and tells her to go back to her husband’s house. Lalita is a really strong character. She goes through a lot but she never gives up. She is set on getting her life on track without anyone’s support, she even refuses to take help from her brother and proves that a girl doesn’t need a man to solve her problems.
