Drama Digest
As per the female lead, Modem’s magic milk family’s birthday tradition, she can choose one out of seven tea recipes that will help her succeed in the year to come. But Modem’s aunt, Shell, recommends her to pick the love recipe so that she can have a man. So she makes a bubble tea for her handsome boss, who is one of the male leads, but accidentally, the tea is spilled on someone whom she hates: Light, the another male lead. And this leads to a hilarious and a chaotic love triangle.
The Feel Good Part
It is interesting and has many twists in the love triangle. The drama is fun and sweet. The soundtracks were good. It has a unique concept and some life lessons in it.
The Disappointing Factor
It would be nice if it had more episodes. The ending was a bit rushed and unsatisfying. There are also some unanswered questions about how Aunt Shell became a witch.
In-Depth Analysis
The office cases were nicely embedded in the main story and were a chance for the side characters to have their screen time. And it is nice how Modem’s boss is on her side every time she is in trouble or sad.
Star Power
The cast are the perfect crew for this drama. Their acting skills are great; they were totally into the role while acting, which made the drama realistic and natural. All the actors did really good jobs with their characters.
Overall Opinion
“My Bubble Tea” is a pretty fun and good drama to watch as it has a mix of comedy, magic, friendship, fantasy, and office romance, which also gives some life advice.
