Drama Digest

The drama mainly centers at the relationship between two students, Bohn and Duen. Bohn is a senior engineering student and is very popular, while Duen is your average first-year student in the medical field. When Duen ends up injuring Bohn’s nose, Bohn is triggered to retaliate. To get even, Bohn orders Duen to get him a flower every morning without fail for an entire month. But when they both decided on this settlement, little did either of them know that it would revamp everything. The deal instead brings them closer, as they both end up falling for each other. The drama also highlights the stories of Bohn and Duen’s friends and their relationships. Be it the connection between King and Ram, or Mek’s love for Boss (which isn’t entirely reciprocated), you, get a flavor of everything. Other than these three couples, the show also presents the story of Thara, who is a senior of Duen, and a business student, Frong.

The Feel-Good Part:

Ram and King’s story is the most outstanding feature of the show. They are the primary force that gets you through it all. They are so adorable that they melt your heart. Ram is charming and shy, while King is so loving and caring but has a class. Their relationship is not at all tacky. They have the perfect respect, affection, and attachment which any two people should have when in a relationship.

The Disappointing Part:

Initially, the story revolving around Bohn and Duen is lovely, but halfway down the show, their graph begins going down and down. Eventually, You might even reach a stage where you question why they are the main couple. The story is somewhat lame with nothing new to offer, but Bohn getting jealous superfluously. Their relationship appears toxic when Bohn hardly gives Duen the needed freedom and space. Also, it is beyond my understanding how no matter whose mistake, but it’s always Duen who apologizes. Bohn and Duen are kind of cheese beyond endurance at points.

In-Depth Analysis:

Although the drama offers you four different couples and corresponding four other love stories, yet it isn’t a pretty newfangled experience at all. The story feels repetitive in many instances. It doesn’t have much to offer. However, there are some cute elements that might make the experience worth it. In the mixed setting, while a couple might annoy you and leave you utterly confounded, another one might give you butterflies through their chemistry. Thus, the show can be a fun one-time watch.

Star Power:

The extraordinarily handsome cast is the central pillar supporting the drama. It’s probably the type of show that makes you wonder that maybe, a cute caste is enough, sometimes. The chemistry between the leads is perfect, especially between King and Ram – played by Talay Sanguandikul (Lay) and Nakhun Screaigh (Perth). The rest of the main cast includes Patpasit Na Songkhla (Cooper), Kritsanapong Soonthornchatchawet (Poy),  Naphat chalermphonphakdee (Inntouch), Ryan Peng, Nutchapol Cheevapanyaroj (Shane), Nutthapong Phibunthanakiet (MD), etc.

Overall Opinion:

People, who are persistent viewers of BL drama, could check this drama out. It could be a fun light drama for them. But, if you haven’t watched a BL series before, and are looking for a series to begin your BL journey with, then this won’t be the best pick for you. There are many other better options, which showcase the real spirit of the genre.
