When dreams seem out of reach, a teen fencer follows significant initiatives and meets an energetic young man who seeks to renovate his life. A part of her high school fencing team, Na Hee Do. The high school fencing team gets disbanded due to the South Korean financial crisis. She becomes a member of the national fencing team during reaping over all the complications. Baek Yi Jin’s father’s business was bankrupt by the financial crisis. Ns this changed Baek Yi Jin’s life. From living the life of a prosperous person to an impoverished one. With the studio, she works part-time, delivering newspapers. Later, he worked for a broadcasting network he becomes a sports reporter.

The Feel-Good Part

The primary theme of fencing was catchy. The fact that it was not a fairy tale ending can capture you. The cinematography was beautiful. The drama is genuine, engaging, and hopeful.

The Disappointing Factor

Hee Do’s character felt unnecessary. The entire drama was great, but it could be closure. The open-ending concept was not acceptable.

In-Depth Analysis

This is a coming-of-age drama that revolves around Na Hee So, from a fencing athlete to South Korea’s Fencing Queen. The story starts from a unique perspective, her daughter Kim Min Chae begins to read her mother’s diary, which she wrote when she was young. With flaws and development, it felt like they were growing. Their friendships had struggles, but they learned to navigate those conflicts. The ending did not give proper closure. The character development, and storytelling were hopeful. The drama kept the audience engaged. The drama went a long way to keep the side couples together. The characters were complex and the plot devices were commendable. The screenplay was excellent, things like the nostalgic setting of the past and how it changed over time, were touching. The cinematography served as a cherry on the cake.

Star Power

Kim Tae Ri astonished with her role, and she did an excellent job. Choi Hyun Wook was a breath of fresh air. Nam Joo Hyuk’s acting was impressive. Baek Yi Jin gradually warmed up the happiness and his heart-wrenching breakdowns, all the emotions were made feel.

Overall Opinion

The entire drama was filled with good and bittersweet memories. The drama is a youth rom-com drama with an outstanding selection of friendships.
