The Feel-Good Part

The show talks about second chances in love and friendship. It portrays the life of a star, who faced many struggles to reach that stardom with many issues in his personal life related to past friends which were left unsolved, but when Geun Young enters his life unexpectedly, everything starts to get clear. The characters revolving around this show were perfectly established and had well-built storylines. The lead couple did have high-level chemistry on-screen with a fast-paced romance. The supporting cast also did a brilliant job in this show. There were a lot of swoony, emotionally packed moments which can melt viewers’ hearts. It also shows the secret behind the show experience of the so-called reality show.

The Disappointing Factor

The show portrays domestic violence irresponsibly as an ordinary relationship, which got easily redeemed in the end. The show depicts a problematic person getting forgiven for violent actions which are tactless. It did make some questionable and unbelievable plots that might take out the realistic vibes. The female characters were always helpless or harassed in some ways that were frustrating to watch. Some usual cliché scenes might be over the top for some audiences.

Unfortunately, they have to work together and play nice, which transforms into an unexpected relationship as they get to know one another more deeply. They both get involved in each other’s personal lives and try to help in some ways. The show also portrays the past friendship between three people, suffering in the present because of their mistakes.

Overall Opinion

The show did have some potential, and it could be an entertaining watch if not taken seriously. It has good and bad qualities which might solely depend on the watchers. It could be a good pick for the Kdrama beginners with enemies-to-lovers trope as it has some sweet romantic comedy with a dramatic plot.
