Naughty Princess is adapted from the novel “Dian Shang Huan” written by Mu Fei. When the city of Dan falls out of glory, Princess Dan Li accidentally gets injured by her childhood friend Su Mu. She meets Emperor Zhaoyuan Qin Yu, he cures her but she gets banished to limbo as she misbehaves in front of the emperor. With the help of her dumb yet cheerful friends, the love story between the arrogant Emperor and princess Dan goes on.

The Feel-Good Part

The chemistry between the emperor and Dan is refreshing and entertaining to watch. The episodes are short yet fun to watch.

Disappointing Factor

The character of Princess Dan is extremely childish, it may be a bit frustrating to watch this but it is funny at times.

In-Depth Analysis

Princess Dan gets injured because of her childhood friend Su Mu. She ends up in the Emperor’s room, he cures her but he banishes her to the limbo as she misbehaves with him. Later her sister, Dan Jia visits her. The emperor gets mad as he arrested the nobility, and he seems to have a crush on Dan Jia, but Dan Jia is more concerned about Dan Li. Later he gets rejected by Dan Jia, and he ends up falling in love with Dan Li. The chemistry between the Emperor and princess Dan Li is refreshing to watch.

Star Power

Xu Xiao Nuo did a great job as Dan Li and Zhang Si Fan also acted well as the poker-faced emperor. Their cute characters enhanced the story.

Overall Opinion

This series is short and cute to watch. The chemistry between the leads is good.
