In-Depth Analysis

With a historical backdrop Secret Royal Inspector is a great comedy show. The drama has balanced both dramatic and comedic aspects that are delight watching. The chemistry between the cast is amazing. The lead couple is fun watching and camaraderie is strong. As they develop feelings for each other it is mesmerising to see. The cast showed amazing facial characters that became the strength of the show. Every character had great interactions. Despite being plot holes the drama is decent. The action scenes were not strong but watchable. All the dialogues are well-written. The way the lead couple give each other concerns will give the viewers butterflies. The story does not revolve around a royal family. The male lead is just an ordinary man. The costume for each and every character fits perfectly according to the situations. The cinematography is also done rightly. The drama is pretty good but depends on the audience’s own taste.

Star Power

All the performances were great and leads proved that they were a perfect choice for the roles. The cast delivered their roles perfectly. Sung Yi Gyum’s facial expressions are perfect. He delivered his character well. Kwon Nara did a great job in portraying Hong Da In.

Overall Opinion

The drama is unique and not typical sageuk drama. It becomes more exciting as the story progresses.
