Drama digest-
Ahn Goong Chul is a middle-aged man. He has a pleased family and a group of friends from his college and his expertise in his job. But a shocking incident will have an influential impact on his life. The golf coach is murdered, both he and his wife along with his friends are all contemplated as suspects. The relation between Goong Chul and his wife is strained as trust between them erodes. This murder is reminiscent of an earlier one about twenty years ago. Grasping difficulty Goong Chul wants to save himself and his family, but will he vacate his friends in difficult times?
The feel-good factor-
This drama is lofty on emotions and is a pleasure to watch. The murder mystery put in cherry on the cake. The drama gave equal significance to its supporting characters rather than only concentrating on the main lead. The drama is full of every person’s life story and it is exemplified in such an amazing manner. The core element of this drama ties everything together.
The disappointing factor –
The only art which did not satisfy me is how they mentioned rape, crime, corruption, and many other negative aspects.
In-depth analysis –
A group of friends who have known each other for over 20 years broke down after a murder. Going Chul is having a precise life with family and works diligently for a food company. Jar hoon is a divorced urologist, he lives alone and has a strange side of whom Goong Chuk is naive. Hyung- Woo is a film director of the adult film industry. Choon- bok is an insurance company employee. It all started with the death of Kang San and meant the problematic relationship. It makes us keep reckoning who killed him. Then we are inaugurated to a backstory of another murder that took place when all the leads were in the university. Implying that one of them has been murdered in present. There seems to be much suppressed beneath the membrane.
Star power –
All the actors characterized the emotions very well. Those intense sentiments can be felt by the viewer. Every character has depth and was relatable. Each character has unique relations.
Overall view
This drama is recommended to everyone willing to watch a slice of life drama. This is rated as 19+ drama it has various themes which makes it more realistic.
