Mr. Queen: The Bamboo Forest is a spin-off series that came on the television screens from the 13th of February, 2021, to the 14th of February, 2021. With over two episodes, each segment spreads across thirty minutes. Headed under the direction of Jang Yang Ho and written for the screen by Choi Ah II, Mr. Queen: The Bamboo Forest is a gift from the staff to the supportive fans.

The Feel-Good Part

The production team did some epic fan service to their viewers by giving a short glimpse and coming to the story. Hopefully, the audience who were not over with the ending availed some resolution over their grief. Moreover, the romance in the plot rushed the heartbeats once again for the last time.

The Disappointing Factor

Fans are in a puddle of disappointment over this side release, afraid that it will taint the success of the original series. Many are still swimming in the pool of anger over the ending, which made less sense. And was offensive to some.

In-Depth Analysis

The story opens with the characters of Kim So Yong and Kim Cheol Jong. It talks about the first meeting of the two and the feelings felt when they came across each other. The script of Mr. Queen: The Bamboo Forest adds to the ending of the original drama that many found unfavorable.

If you are heartbroken over the conclusion of Mr. Queen that finished its airing on the 14th of February, 2021, it becomes a must-watch. Since consisting only two episodes, it can also be binged as a standalone series if one enjoys romance and period drama.
