Drama Digest
Ending Again is a Korean web drama. The plotline of Ending Again revolves around two people who do not want to get married and somehow find themselves entangled in Marriage to receive the government-assisted housing loan, which is eligible only for the married couple, hence the contractual marriage. The story gets even more interesting because there is also a little history between the fake married couple, as they had a one-night stand with each other. As the story progresses, the romance between the inauthentic married couple is disturbed when Chan In Young’s ex-boyfriend, Yoo Chan Hee, who is also her first love, returns to her life, which brings on an angle of a love triangle.
The Feel-Good Part
This web drama brilliantly explores the contractual marriage/fake marriage genre and has a pinch of revenge plotline that can successfully keep the viewers engaged. There is a budding romance between Chan In Young and Do Yoon Soo, which will surely make you feel butterflies in your stomach. There is also a lot of chemistry between Chan In Young and her ex-boyfriend Yoo Chan Hee. This short web drama has a fresh storyline and is a perfect watch for a rom-com binge-watching session.
The Disappointing Factor
There is very little depth in the lead’s character. The acting was quite average on both the male lead’s end. There is also a very vague reason for the breakup between Chan In Young and Yoo Chan Hee. The writing could have been better and should have focused on the character’s growth. Also, the direction in some scenes is quite shaky.

Ending Again is a romance drama that would specifically cater to the youth as it portrays modern relationships. The web drama focuses on this generation’s need for security as the main lead couple had to get into a contract marriage because of the unavailability of the deposit required for housing. The genre of Ending Again is not something new in the drama world; there have been a lot of dramas surrounding contractual Marriage; however, Ending Again has a fresh storyline to offer to its viewers, and the best thing about this drama is the short duration of each episode. One can complete the drama within 3 hours! Overall this drama focuses on the dynamic of its three lead actors.
Star Power
Jo Soo-min, as the lead actress, did an excellent job in portraying Chan In Young. At the same time, the two male leads, Kim Geon-Won and Kang Hui, did a pretty average job portraying their respective characters. The drama also has a few supporting actors who justified their respective roles.
Overall Opinion
If you are running short of time but still want to enjoy watching some good drama, particularly a cute romantic drama, then this drama is definitely recommended by us. Ending Again is available on the app Rakuten Viki for the international audience.
