Drama Digest

What happens when two people affected by the same killer come together to save the other victims? You get the prequel Voice 110 Emergency Control Room.

This one takes off from the ending of the prequel. Hikari Tachibana, the voice profiler, has a unique hearing ability which she had used to help the cops catch the serial killer in the prequel.

She continues to lead the sequel, wherein her close friend Toru is knocked unconscious and is in critical condition in the hospital. Toru is suffering from the betrayal of his brother (in the prequel) and Hikari who is worried about his safety and visits him frequently.

One day, the emergency control room receives a call about the hospital that Toru has been admitted being in a lockdown. But the lockdown has a more sinister plot behind it, and the unveiling it forms the series.

The Feel-Good Part

The thrill and mystery from the prequel continue in the sequel. It is absolute nail-biting and keeps you hooked on it till the end.

The Disappointing Factor

None

In-Depth Analysis

Usually, the sequel might not match to the prequel but in this case, it is on par. Hikari is the lead that connects both series and her character is the one that brings the puzzle together.

In the prequel, she uses her special power to help the cops catch her killer and, in the sequel, she uses the same and wit to save herself and Toru.

A simple hospital lockdown turns into a deeper plot wherein, there are three separate incidents that leads to the climax. In the end, all these three come together to form a climatic and surprise ending.

Star Power

Maki Yoko as Hikari is the star who is ably supported by the other members.

Overall Opinion

If you have watched the prequel, then the sequel is a must-watch. Please do not watch it without the prequel, else the story will not make sense.
