Drama Digest

A story of young people who are in their twenties and the problems faced by them. Soo Hyun and Yeo Joon become friends while working on the project. These two have different personalities. The story depicts the realistic conflicts and worries of the students in the university. Yeo Joon is the central theme of the dramas. He has an attractive appearance and belongs to a wealthy family, but he has his problems. He starts to like a senior and follows him, unexpectedly the two become friends.

The Feel-Good Part

The best reason to watch this show the unique bromance between the two boys. It’s not the usual bromance that you see in other dramas where they are either fighting or clinging to each other. The way they developed the warm as well as beautiful bonding between them. Their friendship is very affectionate. The lead trio’s bonding was terrific. This is more of a healing story where the lead characters despite of their personalities help each other grow as a person.

The Disappointing Factor

They could have used it to bring positive changes. They could have done the character development. The storyline is somewhat mess.

In-Depth Analysis

The drama is coming of age campus storyline, based in the Myung-il university and involves three characters who are in their 20’s; despite the age differences, they become close due to the circumstances. The drama focuses on the lead trio, life values and real-life problems of the university. It has meaningful and beautiful aspects. It also has some heart-touching moments and how characters value their life and love. The love triangle between the main leads was also amazingly presented. So-bin has been in unrequited love with her playboy friend Hong Chanki. The warm and slow romance between Park Ji-hoon and Kang Min Ah was remarkable. It also presented a beautiful and unique brotherly relationship. Nam Go-hyeon, Soo-Hyun’s, younger brother, who is studying for civil service exams. Both the brothers have secrets and are not ready to tell each other. Soo-Hyun carrying financial pressure after his father’s death. The storyline was deep and meaningful that had many things to learn from it. The story also shows the problems faced by youth in their 20’s. The lead trio had proper character development. This drama has created beauty. This is more of a healing friendship story where the lead characters, despite their type of relationship and personalities, help each other in growing. The chemistry between the lead couple is warm, and the romantic part of this drama is interesting. The writer did a great job in showing the contrasting characters who are suffering in their life. Execution of the story with a moderately paced screenplay editing makes it more pleasing to watch. The artwork of the drama has made it more gripping to watch.

Star Power

The acting was good. Everyone did a good job portraying the characters. This drama is not a very high cast. Each of them has done their roles properly, even the side characters.

Overall View

The story is surprisingly intriguing to watch. The pace of the drama was great. This is a great drama that involves the young times their 20’s.
