The Feel-Good Part

The anthology series touches upon themes of fate, human connection and expression. The core of each story has a lot of heart behind it, it treats the subject matter in each episode with great care, which is heart-warming to watch since it is based on true events. Human emotion is expressed with great eloquence, which is refreshing to watch as it is rare for shows to prioritize themes that express human emotion in ways that aren’t melodramatic. The show expresses raw humanity with subtlety; it never feels melodramatic despite the weight of the story. Each episode is differs in setting, certain episodes may be quite relatable to the audience and hence keep them invested. Its only six episodes long, which is a good run period for an anthology series as it doesn’t overstay its welcome, and won’t take too much of the viewer’s time, which is always a plus point. The show is easy to watch as the stories are relatively simple, yet impactful. The cinematography and direction is well executed, the show has vibrant tones and well-composed shots, which is beautiful to look and plus the viewer in despite its loaded subject matter.

The Disappointing Factor

The show is quite heavy and might not be for those who are looking for something light-hearted to spend their time watching. Since it’s an anthology series, there are very few characters that remain constant, hence the audience might not be able to create a continuous connect with the characters. The short time given to each character in the episodes may also cause viewers to lose interest quickly. The series isn’t poetic or does something that hasn’t been done before. The themes of connection may not interest everyone; hence some may drop the show midway.

In-Depth Analysis

All the themes in show are well-balanced; no element seems to overshadow the other, all of them elements of the show work together to provide the audience with a well-executed show. The anthology focuses on how things rather than separate us, managing to find commonality in all the different relationships expressed in each story. It refrains from taking the clichéd tragedy route with its stories and instead resolves it in a way that is wholesome, which is quite admirable.

Star Power

All the performances were beautiful, the actors played their respective characters with subtlety and honesty that was required to express a show like this. They are subtle in their expression of emotions, which makes it realistic and relatable.
