Drama Digest

In this new generation, we see adults turning 26 or 27, like staying single, thinking life is fulfilling as long as they get to make the career they want, eat good food, shop, listen to music, and live in a place they love. In this drama, Sakurazawa Jun is 27 years old and excels in her job, is fashionable and single, has many hobbies, likes to eat and hang out with her female friends, and lives a fulfilled life. She believes that “falling in love is a waste of time!” Neither does she have any experience in romantic relationships or with any men. Until the day Nagamine Shuma appears before her. He is an incredibly handsome chef in training who knows what women want to hear and feel, and he does that nicely with his certain facial expressions and conversations. He likes to live in the moment, lets people come and go, and is calm and not serious about love. The day both come across, Shuma is intrigued by Jun and decides to approach her. Where will this newly developing attraction take both of them? Will their perspective of love and life change?

The Feel-Good Part

The well-timed music and the OSTs that were well suited to the show and making your mood while the story continues is what this show got as its center of attraction. The progression of the story and the characters involved is excellent. The twist and turns in the plot make the drama enjoyable. The characters are quite different, having different reasons for not believing in love, just like in real life.

The Disappointing Part

As the characters are pretty one-sided and do not believe in love, some people might feel displeased by the opinions formed in this drama. Also, as the plot continues, the character of one or two actors seems to dissipate while focusing more on others. It may seem a bit tough to justify the change from a romantic perspective for the audience.

In-Depth Analysis

The drama is generally about romance. But it also focuses on the character’s different perspectives and opinions about love and life. Many people will find the storyline and characters quite relatable.

Star Power

The actors are the star power of the show. The pair of Arisa and Katsumi is well presented. The balance of sincerity and care between them gets you hooked on them. The other characters have also given a fantastic performance. They stand up for themselves to overcome problems, which have escalated the show on a different track.

Overall Opinion

The drama is full of romance and soothing scenes. Some moments will make you chuckle. If you like tension and romance, then you will enjoy this show.
