Drama Digest
The Emergency Investigation Response Team, popularly known as Kintori, was abolished three months ago. Tokyo Metropolitan Police Director Kajiyama Katsutoshi (Tanaka Tetsushi), who is in charge of the perticular task team investigating the robbery of 8 million yen, receives top-secret commands from Tokyo Metropolitan Police Deputy Commissioner Iwaki Kazuhisa (Okura Koji). Makabe Yukiko (Amami Yuki) and Tamagaki Matsuo (Tsukaji Muga) begin their investigation alongside investigators Ikoma Ami (Higa Manami) and Sakai Torazo (Nomaguchi Toru) from the First Investigation Division. The latter have been assigned to the perticular task team. However, this case is proving to be more challenging than they had anticipated.
The Feel-Good Part
Kinkyu Torishirabeshitsu Special 2022 is a refreshing political mystery movie that is less seen in this era of romance-dominated productions. It’s mystery factor with a political crime concept is a genre that catches the attention of the audiences. This being a mystery and crime-themed movie is the reason that the film does not have any heartwarming romantic scenes, but it is undoubtedly a good watch for the audiences.
The Disappointing Factor
Usually, the names of different characters becomes difficult for international fans to remember, and sometimes, it may lead to confusion among the audience. Other than that, the movie does not have a steady pace, it seems rushed in specific parts, and some parts look like they have been dragged too much.
In-Depth Analysis
The fingerprints of a dead man discovered on the grounds of a private residence a few days ago appear to match those left on the cash delivery truck that was looted, and a total of 8 million yen was stolen. This man has a good chance of being a possible suspect.
However, because the family who lives in the building where the body was located belongs to the legal circle, this case is more complicated than they anticipated. Minamoto Etsuo (Inoue Jun), the family’s patriarch, is a law professor at a prestigious university, his wife Hideko (Takahata Atsuko) is a top judge on the Tokyo High Court, and their oldest child Shuichi (Kimura Ryo) is a partner and lawyer at a large law firm. Yuna (Itagaki Itsuki), Shuichi’s young daughter, and their maid Matsubara Shiori (Nanao) also appears to be hiding something. A family with extensive legal expertise turns out to be a formidable enemy.

Amami Yuki, Hayami Mokomichi,Suzuki Kosuke,Denden, Tanaka Tetsushi,Tsukaji Muga are the actors playing in this movie. With famous personalities in this movie, this is sure to be a movie with huge fans of different actors as the audience.
Overall Opinion
The director Tsunehiro Jota aimed to make a series about how women possibly work in an environment surrounded and dominated by men. Yukiko Makabe made her way upward from a junior detective to her current position as an investigator. She was recently assigned to the “Emergency Interrogation Department,” also known as Kintori. Her coworkers are all men, and they each have their own characteristics. This movie has a few seasons as a drama.
