Drama Digest

The story is about Ishizawa Hajime, who is a sales department chief of a trading company. His company is not doing well and his fellow employees have lots of complaints about the working hours.

The Feel-Good Part

This show is a comedic and heart-warming office drama. The story is full of life with excellent characters that will make you smile. The message it puts through after the series is that all human beings have struggles in life, even those in a higher position, like Ishizawa. Although it is a low-budget show, the music and the production are decent.

The Disappointing Factor

The disappointments, as mentioned by the critics, are the sub-episodic format of the series. The show caught up in transition only after the 4th episode and the first three episodes seemed off track.

In-Depth Analysis

Ishizawa’s company workers always complained about his company about the overtime work and outdated working methods. Ishizawa has an intimidating way of looking at them and the workers run away. One new employee, Mugita Ayumi, starts working in his sales department. But soon after, she realizes that this work environment is not suitable for her. She feels comfortable only while eating lunch at her desk alone.

Star Power

The drama series is an adaption of the manga of the same name written by Yoshitani Kouhei. The show received most of its recognition because of the amazing cast, which includes Takashi Sorimochi.

Overall Opinion

If you are interested in office dramas, this is one of you. It provides lively values along with a humor blend. It is a decent show that does not need significant investment.
