Drama Digest

One year later, the story is set. The strange disappearances that take place in several regions of Japan involve Takatsuki Akira, Fukamachi Naoya, and Ubukata Ruiko. As the group looks into what transpired when Akira was 12 and how he acquired his “perfect recall,” they discover that these disappearances appear to be connected to his past.

The Feel-Good Part

Although Fukamachi Naoya-san is still the one telling the narrative, he is no longer as reserved as before. He still possesses the characteristics associated with his “unique ability,” but he has much better control over his emotions. As always, Reiko-chan and Ken-chan accompany us and haven’t lost any of their original charm.

The Disappointing Factor

In S2, Akira and Fukamachi’s friendship grew significantly from S1 and was incredibly endearing to observe. Their relationship also became more profound, sensitive, and sweet. And in this place, Fukamachi grinned even wider! Though many wished the plot had made more use of both of their exceptional abilities.

In-Depth Analysis

The plot takes place a year later. Three young women Takatsuki Akira, Fukamachi Naoya, and Ubukata Ruiko become implicated in a series of unexplained disappearances that take place throughout Japan. The investigation by the three into what transpired when Akira was 12 and how he acquired his “perfect memory” skill leads them to believe that these disappearances are connected to Akira’s past.

Star Power

Although Fukamachi Naoya-san is still the one telling the narrative, he is no longer as reserved as before. He still possesses the characteristics associated with his “unique ability,” but he has much better control over his emotions. As always, Reiko-chan and Ken-chan accompany us and haven’t lost any of their original charm. The power of friendship remains as powerful as ever. Furthermore, Naoya-san and Akira-emotional sensei’s bond is even more obvious. It was touching to observe their rapport change from apprehension to trust. Hajime is a notable foe in the story. Congratulations to the actor for successfully capturing a wholly irrational and crazy demeanour. He truly made life difficult for the team in charge of solving mysteries.

Overall Opinion

Overall, this is very interesting and is certainly recommended. It’s energising to concentrate on puzzles rather than get entangled in romance.
