Drama Digest:

The anime is based on a pro-school Girl’s square Academy that helps young singers to fulfill their dream of becoming a singer. They hold a big annual event and choose only one team from that competition. Toa is a new girl in school who dreams of becoming a singer. She meets the other three teams of girls who have the same goal. Let’s see how the story progresses.

The Feel-Good Part:

With a dream of being a singer, Toa is already determined to work hard. When she joins the Saint Girl’s Square Academy, she is overjoyed because she crosses the first step of her goal, which is to enter this pro-school where they train the performers. However, this is not an easy task. She meets her rivals as well as some friends, with whom she creates an idol group. Her never-give-up personality is a positive factor of this drama. No matter what obstacles she faces, she is always ready to overcome that with a smile and go on. She also meets three other idol groups (West2, South2, East2), who are her rivals but have a healthy competition between them. They are competitors for the competition as it will only choose one group but they are good friends in life. Their dreams never become the hurdle between their friendships. This is just very heart-warming to watch. It is very rare to watch such a precious friendship. They also have small cell phones with their own A.I personality which gives them important advice. The art style is simple yet very cute. It is very nicely designed. Their appearance on stage is just magnificent to watch. They designed it very colorful, like a dreamy idol world that is worthy of appreciation. As this is a musical drama, music is a significant factor here. There are many songs that are ear-catchy. They have their songs for this anime.

Star Power:

Harada as Toa’s voice actor has done her job well. She is not totally perfect but you can feel her effort behind this character which is worth appreciation.

The Disappointing Factor:

The seiyuus are only fourteen years old. Hence they are at the beginning of their career, and for many, it is maybe the first time that they are taking part in anime. So, their voices were not perfect but you can feel that they are doing their best. Each episode is only 3 minutes. The duration could have been a little bit more. There are not so many disappointing factors. It is pretty enjoyable.

In-Depth Analysis:

Despite being based on a competition that will only choose one group, the friendship between the three idol groups shown here is a heart-warming move. This indicates that personal and professional lives are different. One should not let professional life affect private life. The anime also shows that hard work is the key to success. It also tells us to never give up. One should try as much as possible to achieve the dream. If you work hard, it will never fail you. Besides this, the imperfection in the voices of seiyuus has made this anime imperfectly perfect. The songs choice is also pretty good. They beautifully conveyed their emotion through music. One can see their everyday struggle to become an idol and also how they are happy by overcoming obstacles in between their dreams. Each episode is of 3 minutes which is perfect for an in-between anime to watch.

Overall opinion:

This anime is very enjoyable and fun to watch. The songs and art design are really good. It is also very inspiring. Hence one should give it a try. The viewers would not regret watching it. Specially non-anime viewers also can watch and enjoy this musical anime.
