The drama is based on an established photographer Nara Limi. She meets Hyakuta Natsume, who has come to Tokyo with a dream of becoming an actress. As Natsume suffers but she also experiences the lifestyle dominated by social media. Watch the drama to know how they spend their lives.

The Feel-Good Part:

The drama is about working women in the entertainment industry who are loved and hated at the same time. This drama depicts many social issues which you cannot see in average Japanese dramas. This plot shows multiple LGBTQ+ characters, a lot of feminism, working and independent women, sexuality, and motherhood. Every scene is a complete sensory overload. The direction and screenplay are also very magnificent. The pace of the drama is also acknowledgeable.

The Disappointing Factor:

The only disappointing factor is that the drama is short. The drama consists of nine episodes, and per episode is of forty minutes. As there are many characters, a few more episodes were needed to cover everyone’s story. Sometimes it feels like the story of some characters is rushed. Besides this, after some episodes, the drama feels somewhat complicated. Hence some audiences might feel bored watching this.

In-Depth Analysis:

The music and visuals of this drama are soothing. It depicts strong female leads who live on their own. The drama tells how they fulfill their dreams, overcoming obstacles in life. The daily hurdles in Women’s lives and how the orthodox society behaves towards women are clearly shown here. It shows how social media, which is a refreshing time-pass to some people, can become a nightmare for others. Here the social- media is used as a tool to describe the double-faced people of society who appreciate you but at the same time slander you. The story of their lives inspires you. The social issues are shown in the drama indeed is a bold and progressive move.

Star Power:

The casts gave their hundred per cent into their characters. Nakatani Miki as Nara Limi and Ikeda Elaiza as Hyakuta Natsume are very good in their roles. They beautifully portrayed the dreams in their eyes and how hard their lives are.

Overall Opinion:

Overall, this drama shows the real face of society and how life works. Undoubtedly it is a very good watch. The proper pace of drama allows viewers to watch it patiently. The strong progressive plot with powerful casting and inspiring OSTs are the positive factors that attract people to watch this drama. The new and experienced viewers both should watch this drama. We rarely find such a plot with the beautiful portrayal of characters. Hence this drama definitely is a chef’s kiss.
