Drama Digest:

The drama is based on a 16-year-old girl named Koike Kiyomi, who has various emotions revolving around her mind. After school one day, feeling nervous about her future, Kiyomi suddenly blurts out, “What is a woman?” Suddenly she starts listening to a DJ’s voice inside her head. This incident changes her perspective of life. Who is the DJ, and what life lesson does Kiyomi get? Watch the drama to know more.

The Feel-Good Part:

This drama has an exciting plot with a female lead who is a teenager. When she questions what a woman is, the DJ inside her head starts playing songs related to her worries. She got several life lessons through some songs that can change her mentality towards life. This is quite refreshing to watch such a concept where you get life lessons through inspiring songs rather than extensive monotonous dialogues. This drama’s unique factor is undoubtedly the music. The choice of music is just perfect for the plot. Every song holds meaning in itself and is very ear-catching.

The Disappointing Factor:

However, as the story continues, the drama fails to portray its real motive. This drama fails to develop the story of Kiyomi and becomes just a musical drama. In each episode, so many songs break the vibe of a drama. One song per episode should have been enough, according to the plot. They could have created more balance between drama and song so that the idea might have not been ruined.

In-Depth Analysis:

The idea is quite interesting and educative from some perspectives. Specifically, a teenage mentality is shown here magnificently. This drama can help you to learn some life lessons through music. As there are not many musical female-centered dramas, this drama will undoubtedly take place in the viewer’s heart. There is more than one song in each episode. The songs are excellent to hear and also motivational.

Star Power:

Yukawa Hina as Kiyomi is perfect for her role. Besides her, the cast’s guest appearance from each episode is also good.

Overall Opinion:

In an overall opinion, this drama gives an aesthetic vibe that can calm your mind. This drama has a dynamic idea with some good music and life lessons. This is perfect for a teenager who might have some inner turmoil but can’t figure out what to do, they can indeed watch this to get some lessons and even if you won’t take any lessons you can enjoy some soulful music which is a plus point of this drama. Besides, the drama only consists of ten episodes and, each episode is of twenty-two minutes. So, one can enjoy this drama as a quick mood refresher. All in one, this drama is a good watch.
