Drama Digest

This dramatic mystery thriller investigates the dangerous lies and hypocrisies that lurk beneath the perfect lives of women who live in the top 0.1% of society.

The feel-good part

The hidden good part of the drama is the mother-child chemistry and the lesson of keeping your friends close and your enemies closer. The theater had a lukewarm ending which felt pretty good to the heart.

The disappointing factor

The most disappointing part is the audacity of Hwang Nayoon and the stupid police. The plot and characters became too predictable.Drama consisted mainly of messed-up women and their useless husbands raising their kids poorly. Overall, the story was predictable and not very surprising, as it killed and resurrected people as expected.

In-depth analysis

Four women are the central characters of the story.Song Yeo-ul, who lost everything, including the reputation she made for herself as a well-off lawyer because she was framed for the murder, of her husband.

Another character, Nam Ji-Seon, is the Parent Representative who controls the public opinion of all high-society children’s parents (their kids go to international schools).

Hwang Na-Yoon is Song Yeo-ul’s only pal who helps and believes her.

And Cha Do- Yeong, a failed actress, attempts to stay with Nam Ji-Seon inthe hope of becoming the center of attention.

Star power

The cast was well chosen, and did a great job with their characters.

Overall opinion

Thedrama is suspenseful and things end to get interesting in each upcoming episode; however, the main story is a letdown and a bit messy. There story could have been written in a better way so as to make it less predictable.
