Drama Digest

The drama follows He Xing Fu. Her life is nothing like her name, which symbolizes “happiness”. Even though her life is full of ups and downs, she gets married, but her life falls apart when the new factory that is near their area seizes her in-law’s property. This forces her to go to the city and look for work to sustain herself. However, as things do not go as planned in the city, she returns to the village, hoping that she might find some work and happiness there.

The Feel-Good Part

The drama showcases so much more than just the main character and is rich in emotions. As a result, the viewer might very easily relate to the main character’s struggles and emotions. The whole show is beautifully staged. Having He Xing Fu as the focal point makes the show unique.

The Disappointing Factor

Nothing is more disappointing about this show than the large number of episodes that the viewer may struggle to finish, but once hooked on it, it will be worth watching.

In-Depth Analysis

He Xing Fu’s name means “happiness,” so one may assume that his life would be nothing but bliss. Sadly, Xing Fu’s life was full of many ups and downs that brought as many moments of sadness as they did joy, as is the case for so many of us. Even during her wedding, which was supposed to be among the happiest days of her life, Xing Fu had to cope with some embarrassment after her sister, He Xing Yun, experienced an unanticipated setback. The village chief’s son, Wan Chuan Jia, was hurt, which made matters worse and earned her no favors with Wan Shang Tang. Despite the unplanned chaos during her wedding, Xing Fu and Wang Qing Lai were happy to start a new life together. Sadly, their bliss was soon ruined when a new factory for health care products arrived in the area and quickly confiscated her in-law’s property. Xing Fu and Shang Tang decide to file a lawsuit against the plant owners since they would not give up the property without a struggle. Sadly, things do not turn out well for them. Eventually compelled to go to the city in search of employment, Xing Fu makes the most of her situation but finally finds the challenges of city life to be too much for her. When Xing Fu returns to her village, she is adamant that she will do whatever it takes to create the life she has always wanted—not only for herself but for her whole community. Will she eventually overcome her challenges and find the bliss that her name appears to have predestined for her?

Star Power

The stars do an amazing job. Zhao Li Ying, who plays the main role, i.e., He Xing Fu, does a phenomenal job of being central to the whole story. She carries her role with grace, and her efforts are visible.

Overall Opinion

One should not be afraid of the sheer number of episodes and should give this drama a try.
