Drama Digest
“Fighting Girl” is a drama about a girl named Quo Mo. Quo Mo is a hard-working girl who wants to become a fashion designer. She meets Gao Zi Yi, a guy from a powerful and wealthy Fugao family, by accident while trying to save a child. Zao Yi’s dream is to run a pastry shop despite the pressure from his family to take over their business. The fates of these two are interwind as they find comfort talking to each other while having the same goal that is to follow their dreams.
The Feel-Good Part
The way Quo Mo works towards her dream of becoming a fashion designer instead of giving up to societal pressure is very charming and also the way Gao Zi Yi takes good care of Quo Mo is very wholesome.
The Disappointing Factor
This drama is very short and there isn’t much to the storyline. The personality of the female lead is also disappointing at times, like the time she thoughtlessly ruins her interview instead of communicating with her boyfriend about how she is not interested in doing that job.
In-Depth Analysis
Quo Mo is a witty and kind girl. She behaves childish at times but she seriously works hard for her dreams. She is forced by her boyfriend to attend an interview at his company and be serious with life, instead she goes in and ruins her interview by behaving strangely. One day she tries to save a child and she meets Gao Yi Zi. He is gentleman who likes capturing moments with his camera and making deserts. He is the heir to a very powerful family, Fugao. He is pressured by his parents to take on their business but he is more interested in making pastries. They become close and support each other’s dreams.
Star Power
Wang Bo Wen, Li Mi Er and the other supporting actors did a good job portraying their characters.
Overall Opinion
Overall, this a cute story where the leads chase their dreams and find love. The chemistry between the leads is good and it is worth watching.
