Drama Digest
This drama’s story mainly revolves around a talented pistol shooter Shao Yiyou. He struggles to keep his nervousness under control which leads him to fail in giving his best performance for the provincial team. This got noticed by his father, and he decided to help him out, he adopted a boy who himself is an excellent shooter. As drama progresses it shows how these boys bond over helps each other in overcoming their obstacles, howShao Yiliang (the adopted son) helped the other one is not just improving his performance but also in controlling his nervousness. Also, a father-son bond is also reflected in the drama.
The Feel-Good Part
The very first thing that needs huge applaud in this drama is the concept/theme on which they made this series, or at least they gave their best to bring it out on the screen, which is “boy romance” as Chinese industry is not fond of these themes its almost ban over there. Moving on, the plot is simple, straightforward, and grounded. The story is well summarized in 20 episodes. It didn’t feel like anything was missing out from the concept that the writer was trying to convey within these 20 episodes. This drama cannot be completely considered as a BL love story, but it had every single element of it. The message given through this drama is also pretty strong,about acceptance, family, friendship, and love. All the sweet scenes are also captured in a perfect way, It didn’t seem too over the board. So, with everything, it’s an attractive and enjoyable drama to watch.
The Disappointing Factor
The number of episodes in this drama is relatively short considering that the plot is great and exciting.The editing needed a bit of improvement but can be ignored easily. The story at some points seems a bit unusual, but all other things and scenesmake it up to it.

Both the actors have excelled their roles on an individual basis. It’s like they complete each other as both are shown as an opposite characters, and they bring out every characteristicof these tropes. The growth of both characters individually and with each other can be witnessed through the screen. The expressions body language of the characters were outstanding. Also, the supporting characters also did a great job in making drama worth watching. So, from the acting point of view it’s a great the drama.
Overall Review
It is a relaxing and enjoyable family drama. Maybe not the best suggestion but worth watching at least once for boy lover trope. From cinematography to acting and even plot too it is a great drama. What makes it more watchable is the fact the time duration of this drama is not long it is a short, sweet drama. Definitely would suggest you to watch and watching it once will make watch it once again.
