Drama Digest

Su Zhi Nian is a person with superpowers. When he transfers to a new school, he finds himself surrounded by bullies who tell him to give all his money or get beaten up by them. At that moment, Song Qing Chun comes to his defense. Then the situation gets out of control, he uses his powers to protect himself and Song Qing Chun, but he notices that his power doesn’t work when she touches him. She learns his secret, but unfortunately, Su Zhi Nian wipes her memory.

After four years, they cross paths again. But due to some misunderstanding, they have now become sworn enemies. Now, where will this story lead?

The Feel-Good Part

It is a sweet office romance drama. For people who are into the office romance trope, this is a treat for you. And along with the enemies-to-lovers trope, it is just what some people are looking for.

The Disappointing Factor

The drama starts with a misunderstanding, which is not a very good place, to begin with. This trope is just straight-up annoying and will piss you off in just one episode.

Then the enemies part lasts for like 3-4 episodes. Now, if the main leads don’t stay enemies for half of the drama and we don’t get the funny banter, then what’s the point?

What in the world was the last episode? They led us to believe the male lead was dead, and then it skips to four years back, and he comes back alive!? It is more than difficult to understand what led the directors to do this injustice to the audience.

In-Depth Analysis

Despite having a brand-new and good storyline, the plot falls short. The drama becomes predictable and turns out to be like every other drama.

The female lead has a crush on some other guy who is a horrible person with an eviler personality. But she is not a damsel in distress. She knows how to take a stand for herself and has a solid character.

As the drama continues, the male and the female lead come close and get into a relationship but have to go apart because of the male lead’s “sickness,” which leads to the very pleasing ending of the story. Let’s not talk about that ending anymore.

Star Power

Even though the drama is okay, the star cast is good. The female lead is a rookie, but she did a fantastic job and played her character well. All the other stars were also excellent.

Overall Opinion

The drama is not that bad but not that good also. Is it a complete waste of time? Yes and no. It really depends on you; it can be suitable for some people while bad for others.
