Drama Digest

The drama depicts a 1000-year-old battle between demons and angels. The gods were losing ground against the devils, so the god of war was dispatched to defeat Star of Mosha. The god of war defeated demons, and the Mosha soul was sealed and hidden somewhere. And the god of war is banished to the mortal world to face trials. Tianxu people have been searching for the souls of the star of Mosha for 1000 years to become the most powerful in the three realms. A thousand years later, two children Xuan Ji and Si Feng are born on the same day. Si Feng is the most competent descendant of all the sects 16 years later, while Xuan Ji is the weakest and laziest of all factions. They eventually meet, and romance blossoms between them. However, there is a disagreement with Xuan Ji. She is unable to feel anything. What will happen to the two Lovers as the story progresses?

The Feel-Good Part

The play contains a lot of lovely and appealing locales. The Xianxia effects and plot are the highlights of the show. We get sensitive and warm-hearted because of the romance that exists between difficulties. The drama has it all: romance, twists, unpredictable plotline, suspense, and action. It features some very nice and endearing actors. The chemistry between the hero and heroine is the most gorgeous and feel-good aspect.

The Disappointing Factor

The drama had a sweet celebrity cast, but the backstories of the characters they played do not quite match their charms and charisma. The action elements in the show are exaggerated at times. It was just a tad excessive. It is inevitable for romance dramas to have misunderstandings, but there are a lot of them this time, which gets me upset while I watch it. The conclusion needs to be more dramatic, but it was very simplistic.

In-Depth Analysis

The drama has big expectations from people so enamoured with the Chinese Xianxia romance genre. It is adapted from the novel “The Glass Maiden” by Shi Si Lang. It contains numerous aspects, scenarios, and themes, comparable to those seen in other Xianxia dramas as the eternal love, the untamed, and the ashes of love. However, this drama narrative is distinct and superior to the previous ones. Because of the fantasy and mystical elements, there was a lot of editing and CGI. They were, however, all decency compliant. The plot was memorable, and the suspense kept the audience on the edge of their seats. There were numerous subplots and themes.

Star Power

Si Feng and Xuan Ji were played by Cheng Yi and Crystal Yuan, respectively. They performed an excellent job of bringing forth the right emotions, although their aura and personalities may have clashed with the characters they played. The supporting roles were likewise well-received and added to the overall tale.

Overall Opinion

Overall, the drama is enjoyable, with the 59 episodes being well worth watching. Whether you are a Xianxia enthusiast or a first-time binge-watcher, you’ll like this drama. With its fantastic tale, romance passages, and acting emotions, it will not let you down. At the very least, you should view the drama Love and redemption.
