Drama Digest
Broadly speaking, the drama depicts the story of three men who are affixed by virtue of their failed marriages. They together decide to embark on a journey to the same city to acquire true healing. The three men are Bai Zhi Yong, Huang Jiu Heng, and Lan Tian. Although from the same town, they did not know each other. However, still, their stories are somewhat the same as they have all been through heartbreak. After meeting, they decide to do something that can allow them to begin again and have a fresh start. They decided to shift to a new place, and meet Jiang Xiao Mei. She is a mysterious woman who surprisingly becomes their friend. The four of them form a strong bond. They help each other and provide one another the support to get through tough times. By the end of their journey, they all have a new ideology towards life, love, work, and family.
The Feel-Good Part
The best element of the show would be how the relationship between the main leads develops. They were mere four strangers who met all by chance, yet as they get closer to each other, you can see them bonding. This friendship evolves to the extent where they practically help one another out of their traumas. They bolster each other to have the courage enough to have an optimistic view towards life once again.
The Disappointing Part
The drama is plodding, and the story takes a lot of time to grow. Many people might find it to be boring. It is just the character sitting and talking about their life experiences as they undergo new incidents and amend their opinions regarding life and its different characteristics. The show isn’t quite vibrant, and many might find it to be tedious and dull.
In-Depth Analysis
Although the story develops very tardily, it might take you time to fall in love with it. Yet, it teaches us a lot and is certainly worth the forbearance. The centeral teachings of the show are really life-changing and are something we all should practice. It guides us to carry on with our lives, regardless of everything. It gives us the hope that no matter how worst of situations you have been in or how broken you might be – in the end, we all will be alright. It enlightens us about how we can always begin afresh.
Star Power
‘Jin Dong,’ ‘Calvin Li,’ ‘Li Nai Wen,’ ‘Jiang Xin,’ and ‘Zou Xiao Qing,’ are part of the main cast, and they did an excellent job in depicting the character. Their acting is so convincing that you might find yourself crying with them every time they share their miserable experiences. Other than this, ‘Liu Li Li,’ ‘Ning Xiao Hua,’ ‘Gao zhao Qing Ya,’ ‘Chen Bing,’ etc. are the supporting cast members.
Overall Opinion
If you can patiently follow a story and don’t mind how long it requires, as long as you get to witness something beautiful in the end and learn some suitable lessons; then you should watch this drama. It will fill you with newfound optimism and teach you to learn to move on in life, no matter what.
