Throughout this drama, we see Chi Qi and Nan Yu’s difference in lifestyle. We see Chi Qi providing for Nan Yu and saving her at times. While this trope is overused and can be called a stereotype, it is equally entertaining and appealing.
Chi Qi takes on the role of a reserved man who changes his ways due to Nan Yu as she teaches him to open up and accept the odd methods of life.
Star Power
Hu Wen Zhe as Chi Qi and Yin Qi as Nan Yu are the pillars of this plot. Their performance builds a strong relationship with the viewers. Their acting chops reflect in scenes where emotions are required more than the dialogues, and in all honesty, they nail it.

Despite a few errors, this drama is suitable for audiences looking for a rom-com with the power of escapism. Heart reading bot is tailor-made for people who love fairytale endings. This show isn’t extraordinary. In fact lot of the plot lines have been done before. However, the show’s simplicity and the acting performance make it worthwhile.
