Drama Digest

This series is a story of two brothers, Fang Qingming and Fang Qinghua, who want to make a significant impact on the world with their guitar business. Despite all the differences between them that happen throughout the series, they succeed in achieving their goals.

The Feel-Good Factor

The feel-good factor of the series would be the real relationship and the turn of events in the lives of the two brothers.

The Disappointing Factor

The series is not something most people would find interesting because it portrays realism but in a boring way. Also, the series is only available in the Chinese language and has no English subtitles, so only native Chinese speakers and those who know the language can understand the series altogether.

In-Depth Analysis

Both the brothers are pretty distinguished from each other. The younger one, Fang Qinghua, has a flexible brain, meaning he can quickly adapt to any situation before him but lacks the composure to deal with anything. He is intelligent and courageous, loyal and persistent. Despite his crooked personality, he works hard to achieve his dreams. The older one is wise and pragmatic and has technical talent. He is an understanding person but he’s conservative. He does not like change and ignorance. He treats everybody around him well, and everyone likes him.  Both brothers grew up without a father. They belong to a poor family consisting of only their mother and grandmother. It’s hard for them to make ends meet for the family. They come from a small village called Shizhu, located in Guangzhou province. To support the needs of their family, their mother, Lin Meixin, joins the army of three hundred women, but after some time, she goes missing in the Guangzhou province where she was working. After growing up, the brothers relocated to Guangzhou to take the path their mother had taken and start working in a guitar factory. After gaining ample experience working, they both move back to their original residence, Guizhou, and create a guitar business there with the dream of making an impression with their private company and giving back to their motherland with sincerity. In this process, Qinghua meets Su and An Xing, which leads to his entanglement with two women in the form of a love-hate relationship for years. Qingming gets married to a woman named Wu Xiaona and has children. After a few years of working together, the brothers split up due to growing disagreements and a desire to establish themselves independently. This goes on for a while, but then a World Guitar Manufacturing Competition takes place, and both of them participate in it with the help of their mother, who was found later after she went missing. They win the championship, and soon all their differences between them are sorted out.

Star Power

There were some other characters in the story, who tried to impart wisdom into the brothers’ minds throughout the series, but the stars of the show would always be the brothers themselves. The realistic approach they have towards their relationship with each other and everyone around them, despite being different personalities, is something to watch out for.

Overall Opinion

This series has 21 episodes and if someone wants to see how siblings bond and sort out their differences, this could be the show for them.
