The storyline of the show 86 tells the story of The Republic of San Magnolia, which has been at war with the Giadian Empire for about 9 years. The work caused terrific losses to the resources of the empire, which are the autonomous mechanized legions. Juggernauts are units that are controlled by a human. The humans piloting the Juggernauts are the “86”. They gave the designation to the sub-humans belonging to the 86th sector. The Alba Government prosecuted and removed their rights from them. Major Vladilena “Lena” Millizé is a military officer in the Republic of San magnolia military who is an Alba noble. They assigned her as the handler of the sphere head squadron of the eastern front. Spearhead squadron includes the 86th veterans who have earned their names because of their squad leader, Shinei “Undertaker” Nouzen Van. Lena meets Shinei and the other spearhead squadron members. He gets to know their condition, and she sympathizes with the people. She tries to help those people and also learns secrets about the war between the republic and the empire.
Star Power
The VAs did an excellent job in the main show along with the special episode. Hasegawa Ikumi and Chiba Shouya, who played Lena and Shinei, delivered an amazing performance.
