The Feel-Good Part
While watching the drama, you will feel upright with the attitudes of the characters. Despite being the best from the beginning, Ai Qing never disrespected Wu Bai and always appreciated his talent and hard work. She never took him as a nemesis. And Wu Bai also always respected Ai Qing and never out shown himself in front of her. Even as professional competitors their love was immense and pure. Wu Bai’s hard work is very intimidating. He rose from ground level to one of the best players in the gaming world. And the story is a perfect balance between love and competition. It gives the lesson that competition doesn’t mean hatred. Compete against someone while loving them is a sign of healthy sportsmanship.

The only disappointment is the bland sense of rivalry in the story. Slightly upping the intensity could have added another punch to the story without compromising on the general message.

The characters have played their roles very effectively. Both the lead actor and actress have killed it in their arena. Li Yi Tong has done full justice to the role of Ai Qing; she had shown her as a strong and independent modern woman who is fearless. Hu Yitian has also played the role of Wu Bai very convincingly. He portrayed him as hardworking and talented. This drama also has the best supporting actor cast.
