Before five years, Xia Ran Ran was an ugly duckling futilely tailing behind Lin Xiang An. On their, the hand Su Mo was the white lotus on Lin Xiang’s heart. After five years, Ran Ran became Lin Ciang’s fiancée. But he keeps his ex-girlfriend Su Mo in his heart. Ran Ran never expects to meet Xiang An again. Time passes, but her memory still seems to be rooted in the past. Her relationship with Shao Ming Zhe is due to the coalition between their families. They have always accompanied each other. Love is breath-taking beautiful yet fatal. Her father’s right hand is Chen Luo, he tried to approach her. Will she be able to escape from the love he cast? Who will become her leading man? This drama is adapted from the novel of the same name by Xiang Cheng.

The Feel-Good Part

The screenplay was engaging. The storyline is pretty well. The characters are written adequately. The progression of the story was fantastic, and it was well executed.

The Disappointing Factor

The drama contained many love triangles, which were unrealistic. The principal leads didn’t have chemistry, and their relationship didn’t work out. The ending was anti-climatic and unsatisfying.

In-Depth Analysis

It begins with a spoilt rich girl having an awful past. She lived in England, ran out of cash, and asked for budgets at her home. She was denied and didn’t have enough money to pay the apartment, rent. When police reached her apartment they found drugs, and she was arrested. She didn’t have anyone who could help her. She had a stranger’s number, which she thinks is of her mother. But the stranger enabled her to get bailed. She had no choice other than to stay with a stranger. The events squally turned romantic-comedy. The mysterious beginning was buried with rom-com and the elements. The mystery was revealed at the end. The whole story can be guessed until the screenplay tells it. Xia Ran Ran talked to herself throughout the drama. Till the ending, everything turns rosy for Xia Ran Ran. She had a fairy tale wedding. It was a happy ending. She lived in a fantasized world and then faced reality. She lost the tender, the bank rescinded back the loan assistance, their home and properties were swapped. Despite these circumstances, she had a fairy-tale ending. And that didn’t make sense. Ran Ran is cheerful throughout the drama. She reflects over her past actions. There is an age-gap romance. They developed a friendship and confided in each other. They had an enjoyable chemistry. There was also an evil stepmother. The story starts with a side plot in the middle. The ending was anti-climatic and unsatisfactory.

Star Power

The acting is top-notch, conveyed by an incredible cast. The characters were written and portrayed well. The characters were not simple. The cast acted well.

Overall View

This is a pleasant drama to go ahead with. It is a light-hearted rom-com that ended perfectly.
