Drama Digest
The drama series immediately draws you in and takes you on an exciting suspense-filled adventure to unravel a riddle wrapped in mystery inside an enigma. It beautifully tells the narrative of how jianghu adolescents matured into a generation of heroes. Shen Ji Valley is in charge of solving crimes in Jianghu. Jian Jin Huan, the leader of Shen Ji Valley, had died eight years before as a consequence of a violent war. Jian Bu Zhi, his only son, was also gravely hurt and lost all his memories. The perpetrator of this incident is still unknown. Four of the parties engaged in the horrible atrocity are still alive, according to evidence. Who? This puzzle must be solved.
The Feel Good Part
There are lots of random surprises in the entirety of the narrative. This makes it a thrilling watch. The male lead is shown as weak and hot tempered but he gradually matures. The matuting aspect without his father is portrayed very realistically and makes viewers connect to it. There is an additon of comedic elements to the drama. All thanks to Zhao Wo Huan and the zombie. It has light-hearted comedy as relief.
The Disappointing Factor
The pacing is absurd in the end. The ending is well executed but the it feels abrupt and forced. The last few episodes were moving fast and the plot progress wasn’t present at all hence the abrupt feeling toward the end. It could have been better and more precisely executed. However, the ending is the best part of this drama. We get a twist at the end which almost gives us a cliffhanger vibe while wanting for another season but the ending is too perfect even without a sequel, it would fit the story and give all viewers peace.
In-Depth Analysis
There is a lovely and a fair amount of emphasis on the supporting female characters. All of them were shown as strong and as capable as thier male counterparts. All had important roles for the plot development. It had so much o its plate yet it never outpoured any of it. It would maek you doubtful of every character yet it engrosses you in all the scenes. There are at least three murder cases that sends you shivers down your spine. The cases are still so vivid after watching because of how brilliantly it was executed. The actions and reactions were well paced and relatively shot with more depth. The character introductions were all compelling. Romance also had its fair share of screentime throughout the series. It peaked for at least three times for the main leads. Some scenes felt a bit unnecessary but it all fit well for the bigger picture. The originality of the script was perfect and an absolute bliss. The attention to every detail is quite evident in all scenes we come across.
Star Power
Most actors were talented and gave us the right amount of feels throughout the series while few could have done better. There was some sort of incompleteness in few scenes with some of the supporting cast. Besides this, the ensemble is great and top-notch.
Overall Opinion
The ending most likely wants you longing for another season of this series but let’s see. The drama has all elements and it is definitely binge-worthy.
