What makes a drama or a movie blockbuster? It's their characters and the right casting. A good movie is always recalled for its protagonist. But, what makes the main character the hero of the plot? The answer is a villain. A villain is a character in the plot's story that does all the ill jobs to make the hero outshines the story. The villain's role is usually designed in a way, that is unlikeable to the audience. But sometimes, the villain's character is so strong that it becomes unforgettable for the audience.
1. Park Joong Heon- Goblin
Goblin is considered one of the most successful K-Dramas ever and is still remembered by the people for its magical storyline. The romantic thriller stars Gong Yoo, Kim Go-Eun, Lee Dong-Wook, Yoo In-Na, etc. Park Joong Heon ( Kim Byung-Chul) did a fantastic job as a character in the grey shade. His strong and manipulative character manipulates the king to fulfill his greed. He was appreciated by the critics and the audience for his extraordinary performance.
2. Jang Dae-Hee- Itaewon Class
Itaewon Class is one of the people’s favorite dramas and is widely loveable because of its fresh and inspiring storyline and the actor performance. Most villains are known for their scary-looking faces, but Vincenzo gave us a handsome looking bad-guy. He plays the role of a cunning CEO who can do anything to achieve his goal. He killed his own family to be at the top. The story has some spine-chilling moments that make viewers bite their nails.
4. Jang Mi Kwan- Strong Woman Do Bong Soon
Strong Woman Do Bong Soon is a light-hearted romantic love story of a girl. She has supernatural powers, and her significant other is the owner of the game designing company. The romantic thriller series stars Park Bo-Young, Park Hyung-Sik, and Ji Soo. Jang Mi Kwan is the antagonist who wears a scary mask, kidnaps women, and confines them in cells. He received appreciation for his performance because it was his debut role.
5. Shin Sung Rok- My Love From The Star
Shin Sung Rok, the scary-looking being played the role of a sociopath. He tries to silence the female lead and potentially kill her. He passionately wants everything and is ready to do whatever it takes.
