1. Suga

Min Yoon-gi, also popular with August D and Suga, was born on 9 March 1993. He is 30 years old. He is a South Korean rapper, songwriter, and record producer. In one of his interviews with his company, Bighit, he shared heartfelt news of him being depressed and suffering from anxiety attacks. He had to seek professional help and counseling to cure his illness. He also said that, his music his fans, Army made it easier for him to cope with his problems.

2. Jang Keun-Suk

Jang Keun-suk is a South Korean actor and singer. He was born on 4 August 1987. He is 36 years old. In one of his letters to his fans, he conveyed a message about being ill and unable to continue his journey of being an actor for a while. Due to his bipolar disorder, it became hard for him to concentrate and focus on his work, so he also had to leave military training in between.

Lee Da-bin, also known as Yeon Woo, is a Korean actress and singer. She was born on 1 August 1996. She is 27 years old. She started working as a singer in a group called ‘Momoland,’ but in 2020, she had to leave her group because of her panic disorder. Kim Jon-Hyun, also known as Jonghyun, was a singer, songwriter, record producer, and author. He was born on 8 April 1990. He was 27 years old, he died on 18 December 2017. His cause of death was possible suicide, though his family did not want a post-mortem of the body. His last message was to his sister at Kakkao, saying his final goodbyes. Various media and his fans stated that depression was the result of suicide.

Lee Ji-Eun, also known as I.U., is a South Korean singer, actress, songwriter, and composer. She was born on 16 May 1993. She is 30 years old. She revealed a piece of personal information at Healing Camp 2014 about her struggle with bulimia, which is an eating disorder. She had had this for a very long time. She suffered anxiety about being on a diet and having a perfect body as an idol. She had to get help to cure her illness.

6. Jun Tae-soo

Jun Te-soo was a South Korean actor. He was born on 2 March 1984. He was 33 years old. He died on 21 January 2018. It was reported as suicide because he was having treatment for his depression when he attempted suicide.

7. Hyuna

Kim Hyun-ah is a model, singer, songwriter, record producer, and rapper. She was born on 6 June 1992. She expressed her feelings to her fans through an interview that she suffered from depression and panic disorders. She had to take a year and a half to rest and treat her illness before continuing her life again.

Lim Jae-beam, also known as Jay B or JB, is a South Korean actor, singer, and songwriter. He was born on 6 January 1994. He is 29 years old. He talked to his fans about him going through anxiety attacks and suffering from depression. He also stated that instead of taking any cure or advice, he would hide those feelings inside of him to become a good idol for his fans, still, when it got overwhelming for him, he had to get help from professionals to cure his anxiety problems and depression.

9. Goo Hara

Goo Hara, also known as Hara, was a pop singer and actress. She was born on 3 January 1991. She was 28 years old when she died on 24 November 2019. The family did not want an autopsy of the body, but after the investigation, police declared it to be a suicide; it could be a result from a domestic dispute with his boyfriend, Choi Jung-bum. Police found a suicide note written by her, but the content is still unknown to us.

Choi Jin-ri, also known as Sulli, was a South Korean singer and actress. She was born on 29 March 1994. She was 25 years old when she died on 13 October 2019. Police, after the investigation found a diary in which she wrote her feelings about being in depression because of cyberbullying. There was no suicide note, but after the autopsy, it was finalised that it was a suicide.
