'The Glory Part 1' started airing on December 30, 2022, with the promise of part 2 coming on March 10, 2023. The psychological thriller is one of the most successful K-dramas of 2023. School violence is a very concerning matter in South Korea, and 'The Glory' has shown it perfectly.
6. All Of Us Are Dead (2022-)
'All of Us Are Dead' is another K-drama adapted from a webtoon of the same name. The Coming-of-age horror K-drama is a typical zombie apocalypse series. Still, its engaging plot and fantastic character developments, along with mind-blowing acting, make it different from other zombie shows. Released on January 28, 2022, 'All of Us Are Dead' follows students trapped inside their high school trying to fight their way out when the said high school becomes the center of a zombie virus outbreak. 8. Alchemy Of Souls (2022)
Set in a fictional land called Daeho, 'Alchemy of Souls' is the tale of a powerful sorceress, Nak-Su, who accidentally shifts her soul into a blind woman's body, thus making her unable to access her magic. That is when she meets Jang-Uk, the young master of the Jang family and an aspiring mage who wants her help to unlock his full potential. The first episode of the fantasy romance K-drama aired on June 18, 2022. This series was divided into two seasons. 'Alchemy of Souls Season 2: Light and Shadow' started airing on December 10, 2022.
9. My Name (2021)
'My Name' is a crime drama that revolves around Yoon Ji-Woo (played by South Korea's well-known actress Han So-Hee), who joins the gang of a powerful crime lord to avenge her father's death. Ji-Woo sneaks into the police as an undercover agent to find the truth about her father's death. The incredible acting of the actors, the action scenes, and the plot itself have brought in a lot of praise from its viewers. The first episode of 'My Name' aired on October 15, 2021.
10. Sweet Home (2020-)
Based on the webtoon of the same name, 'Sweet Home' tells the story of Cha Hyun-soo, a loner high school student who rarely leaves his room. After a tragic accident that takes the lives of everyone in his family, Hyun-Soo moves into an apartment. Soon after, humans all around turn into monsters, and Hyun-soo, along with his neighbours, fights against them to save the human race that the monsters try to wipe out. 'Sweet Home' has been renewed for two more seasons, and the second season is rumored to be out this December, though there have not been any official announcements.
