Sometimes these celebrities appear as themselves, and other times they play roles that are so brief but memorable that we have to watch the scene 50 times.

1. Lee Joon-Gi In Hotel Del Luna

Lee Joon-gi and IU reunited in IU's supernatural drama Hotel del Luna, following their hot chemistry in Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo in 2016. Lee makes an appearance as a priest executing an exorcism, much to the chagrin of IU's character, who granted him the power to see ghosts in the hopes that he would join her hotel, only for him to become preoccupied with hunting down dangerous ghosts instead.

 

2. Kwak Dong-Yeon In It’s Okay To Not Be Okay

Before his incredible performance in Vincenzo, Kwak Dong-yeon appeared in It's Okay To Not Be Okay, in which he played Kwon Ki-do, a psychotic patient. He flashes Ko Moon-young (Seo Ye-ji), who laughs at his teeny weenie, before going amok at his father's political campaign event, dressed in a trench coat with nothing below and a crazed expression in his eyes.

 

3. Choi Ji-Woo In Crash Landing On You

The emergence of OG Hallyu superstar Choi Ji-woo as herself was another CLOY cameo that had fans excited. In the touching scene, North Korean soldier Kim Joo-muk (Yoo Su-bin), a major fan of the 2003 drama Stairway to Heaven and its female heroine, discovers that Yoon Se-ri has planned a surprise meeting with his favourite actress.

 

4. Kim Soo-Hyun In Crash Landing On You

Kim Soo-hyun, a K-drama A-lister and one of the industry's highest-paid performers, had one of the craziest appearances in recent memory. Kim humorously reprises a character from his 2013 comedy-drama Secretly, Greatly as Won Ryu-hwan, a North Korean agent disguised as a rural fool, in Crash Landing on You, the 2020 K-drama that made millions around the world drool and become a K-drama lover.

 

5. Lee Sung-Kyung In Record Of Youth

Weightlifting Fairy Lee Sung-kyung, who also appeared in Dr Romantic 2, plays an actress who has a heated encounter with Park Bo-gum’s character. She even has a part when she does a modern dance routine for the audience. That is what we call a genuine cameo!

 

6. Hyeri In Record Of Youth

The actress, who was most recently seen in the hit K-drama My Roommate Is a Gumiho, starred alongside Park Bo-gum in 2015's Reply 1988 as Duk-seon and Choi Taek in one of K-drama history's most beloved episodes. Fans were overjoyed to learn that Hyeri would appear in Record of Youth and were looking forward to a pleasant reunion.

Park Seo-joon comes as a famous actor who presents the Best Actor award to Park Bo-character gum's in the PBG film Record of Youth after Park Bo-gum appears in his show Itaewon Class. In character, the two also engage in some backstage banter.

In the last episode, he also appears as the founder of a start-up that matches young orphans with adult mentors.
