1. Yukiko Okada
Yukiko Okada was a Japanese actress and singer. In 1983, at just the age of 15 she won in a national television show and in 1984 she debuted as an idol. She has discovered in her gas-filled apartment with a slit wrist but was found by her management team when they were discussing how to avoid this scandal she went to the rooftop and jumped which caused her death.
2. Izumi Sakai
Sachiko Kamachi, known as Izumi Sakai, was a famous Japanese songwriter, and singer. She was a member of the well-known pop group Zard. She was diagnosed with cervical cancer. While receding her treatments one day she had an accident and ended up falling at the hospital while she was out for her routine walks. She passed away at the age of 40.
3. Ai Iijima
Ai Iijima was a Japanese writer, actress, activist and well-known media figure. In her early career was an AV idol. She has starred in more than 100 movies. In 2008 she was found dead in her apartment due to extensive pneumonia.
4. Karin Maruyama
Karin Maruyama was a Japanese television personality and singer. In her second year of elementary school, she found she had a brain tumor and was fighting it for a long time, having undergone seven surgeries. In 2015 at just the age of 22, she passed away after a protracted illness.
5. Yutaka Ozaki
Yutaka Ozaki was a famous Japanese musician. He was placed 23 in the top 100 musician list. In 1992, he was discovered drunk and unconscious in an alleyway in Tokyo, he was taken to the hospital but was soon dismissed. Several hours later he died. It was said he died when the fluid filled his lungs at the age of 27-year-old.
6. Kyu Sakamoto
Hisashi Oshima, known as Kyu Sakamoto, was a Japanese singer. He was known internationally for his song Ue o Muite Aruko which has sold more than 13 million copies. In 1985, he died in Japan Air Lines Flight 123 plane crash along with other people on board. He was only 43 years old and his fans were deeply saddened by his passing.
7. Sei Ashina
Aya Igarashi, known as Sei Ashina, was a Japanese actress. She started as a model, and then made her debut as an actress in 2002. She was well-known for starring in Kamen Rider Hibiki. In 2020, at the age of 36, she was found dead. She was found at her house in Shinjuku after committing suicide.
8. Yuko Takeuchi
Yuko Takeuchi was a Japanese actress. She has appeared in various TV series like Pride, Miss Sherlock, and Asuka as well as films like Ring and Dog in a Sidecar. In 2020 she was found hanged in her house in Shibuya. Directly she was taken to the hospital where she died shortly. She was only 40 years old. They didn’t find any suicide notes.
9. Daigo Kashino
Daigo Kashino was a Japanese actor. He used to participate in various theatrical events. In 2016 he passed away after he was struck with a sword in the stomach during a samurai exhibition practice. It is however still unclear whether it was an accident or a premeditated murder. He was just 33 at that time.
10. Haruma Miura
Haruma Miura was a Japanese singer and actor. In 1997 he made his acting debut and after starring in the film Koizora rose to popularity. In 2020 he was found unconscious in his closet after hanging himself. He was taken to the hospital where he got pronounced dead. A suicide note was found stating. He expressed that he had anxiety and thought about dying.
