Drama digest:

This series tells the story of the protagonist, who is a depressed individual himself but works a job where he has to make other people laugh, despite being a gloomy person in real life.

The feel-good factor:

The best thing about the series is that it’s relatable on a large scale. All of us can relate to certain nuances of it as we experience them in our day-to-day life. It’s a light-hearted, honest, and entertaining show. It has a simple and honest take on adulthood, and it spreads awareness about the fact that children need to be aware of adult life as it is, without any sugar-coating, so that they’re ready to face their lives even better in the future.

The disappointing factor:

The animation is mediocre with not much attention to detail. The Protagonist might seem too dull and depressing at times which might spoil some of the viewers’ mood.

In-depth analysis:

Uramichi Omota, the show’s protagonist is a Thirty-one-year-old, brown-haired, attractive, and muscular young man. He graduated from the precious Nippon Sport Science University, which is well-known for its worldwide famous athlete graduates. He is a former gymnast, who has won many awards in solo gymnastics competitions. He quit gymnastics due to some unknown reason and now works as a TV show host for the show ‘Together with Maman,’ which is a Children’s educational program. He still likes to work out though. He seems like a fun, entertaining, and bright personality by his looks, but in reality, he’s a gloomy and depressed individual. Often on the show, while answering children’s questions, he becomes too honest to a level that might seem inappropriate for children. A lot of people despise him for doing this, but the children seem to sometimes like his honest answers to their questions. He suffers from a lot of problems with his co-workers because of this nature of his, but he keeps being how he has always been. The series keeps rocking back and forth if the children are aware of the odd things of life and whether these things should be blatantly and honestly presented to them.

Star power:

The star of the show would be none other than its main lead because despite being depressed himself, he tries to make the children laugh. Despite knowing how reality hurts people, he does not hesitate to educate children about life honestly.

Overall opinion:

The best thing about the series is its realism. It really amazes the viewers on how the rawness of adulthood and various aspects have been presented on the show.
