The adventures of Wataru Ikusabe, our 9-year-old Kid Hero, continue. This time he is called to defend the land of Soukaizan, otherwise known as the Creatio Realm Mountain. He teams up with his companions, Shibaraku Tsurugibe and Himiko Shinobi, as they confront a new adversary named “Dobazudar.” Unlike his previous adversaries, Wataru is up against an army,  and they are highly overpowered against his band of heroes. How will Wataru protect the realm and himself from a formidable force? Will things go the right way this time around? Or will the team find a new challenge ahead of them? Watch the anime and find out.

The Feel-Good Part

A show about children defending the galaxy with giant robots has a nostalgic and classic feel. It is reminiscent of the late 90s and early 2000s style of animation and plot, which is just fun all around. It is incredibly heartwarming, wholesome, and surprisingly action-packed.

The Disappointing Factor

This show is made for kids. There might not be a mass appeal to it. It is something you would put on for a child and never watch yourself. However, even though it is made for children, there is clever storytelling and beautiful lessons to be learned.

In-Depth Analysis

There is a massive saturation of giant robots and children saving the planet in anime. It takes a lot to be unique and stand out. Whether this anime does that depends on how deeply invested you are in the genre and style of animation. But regardless, it does see its protagonist going up against a strong opponent, so it will be amazing to see how well he can do it.

Star Power

This anime is directed by Hiroshi Koujina, who has produced several well-known and iconic anime such as Hunter X Hunter, Cowboy Bebop, Dragon Ball Z Movie 01: Ora no Gohan wo Kaese!!, and so many more. The biggest star of this show is the studio it is released under, called Bandai Spirits. Bandai Spirits have produced several iconic anime such as Beasters, One Much Man Season 2, Mobile Suit Gundam G40, BNA, and so many more. What makes it even better is that the entire show is available for free viewing on YouTube (with subtitles available in English).

Overall Opinion

With its easy access, straightforward storyline, and loveable characters, it is worth checking out.
