Drama Digest
Kemono Jihen is an anime and revolves around a story of a village located on the top of the mountains witnessing some strange incidents. The animal bodies began to rot overnight, and thus, a detective named Inugami gets called to resolve the mystery. While on his investigation, he met a strange boy with whom he developed a bond gradually. Later, Inugami got to know the boy’s nickname is “Doratabo,” and he helped him unfold the mysteries of the case. Along with Doratabo’s help, he concluded the sudden deaths, one of them being the existence of supernatural force. But, what made Inugami suspicious about Doratabo – The mystery boy was the unusualness and strangeness about him. What made him think like that? Was something mysterious about Doratabo? Watch the drama to know the thrill!
The Feel-Good Part
The good part about the drama is that it won’t make you feel bored. There will be no dull moment during the time frame due to the thrilling suspense.
The protagonist did a spectacular job delivering the dialogues and connecting with the audience. Inugami is an independent, solid, and determinant detective with a clear motive to unfold the truth about sudden animal deaths in the village. Yet, his bond and friendship with the little boy and his compassion towards him melt the audience. On the other hand, Doratabo repaid his company by helping him in his case.
The bond between them was the eye-catching part for the audience.
The Disappointing Part
The film’s editing could have been better and needed the secondary plots to be more descriptive about their characters.
