Anime digest
The story has been in a fictional place, Orario. The gods are bored in their realm, so they come to earth and make their separate groups called Familia. People who follow a particular god are part of that particular Familia.
There is this one Goddess Hestia who has only one follower in her Familia who has no desire to reach the top level or gain a name for himself. But when he is on a noble quest to find something, he finds a terrified girl in a dungeon and saves her. But he doesn’t know that the girl he saved is not a girl at all. It is a monster.
The Feel-Good Part
Compared to the last two seasons, this one has some story. The last two seasons focused just on Bell getting into problems and solving them along with helping some people, even if that will put him in danger. In this season also, he is doing the same, but he thinks before making any rash decision. Even after thinking that decision ended up being a rash one, but you can’t blame a man for trying.
The Disappointing Factor
The characters in this season ended up disappointing. They are the same old characters, but they’ve lost their appeal and now are just aggravating.
The comedy aspect is there, but you’ll laugh at very few jokes. It is not funny as it used to be in the first two seasons, and some jokes are just annoying.
In-Depth Analysis
Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? III has a better story than the first two seasons, but it is still not that appealing. Now, what does that tell you about an anime? You know what.
The characters were good in the previous two seasons, but in this one, they just went haywire and are just disappointing.
Having the genre of the show as comedy and not making the audience laugh until they almost cry is a crime. The jokes in this season don’t even feel remotely funny. And if the viewers laugh at only 10 out of 200+ jokes, then what is the point?
This season could’ve been better because it has a storyline unlike the other two seasons, but it just ended up disappointing.
Star Power
As mentioned above the characters have lost their appeal. Most of the characters are just annoying. The voice acting is good for all the characters.
Overall Opinion
Better than the last two seasons but still not over the top. Things could’ve been better but, the whole show is just predictable.
