However, with a shortage of buffalos, they cannot have their annual Vaikdamnia festival. Will the team find a way to protect these islanders? What will they do? And what miss adventures will our band of fighters and warriors do now? Watch the anime and find out.

The Feel-Good Part

This season feels so much better than the original season. There is a more sense of seriousness and the right amount of intensity. Along with a lot of laughs to keep the viewers engaged. The show also does generic tropes in a fresh new manner which is exciting to watch all around. With the introduction of new characters, you can hope to root for them and cheer them along their epic quests and journeys.

The Disappointing Factor

The animation style of this anime is not the best. It does not add to the fantastic storyline and its fun characters. The problem with this is the fact that a fantasy anime. An epic fantasy anime needs some level of pizzaz and visual appeal to make its audience happy and to keep them engaged. But unfortunately, this anime does not do that.

In-Depth Analysis

The continuation of the storyline from just an episode-to-episode battle to be the best to a more story-driven arc is an intelligent move. It keeps audiences engaged for a more extended period and makes them want to know how our protagonists can work to fix the problems that they are in. The show’s use of new characters also adds to the flavor and amazingness of this anime. It is hard to make a generic fantasy anime something fresh and new, but this one indeed does.

Star Power

Uemura Yuuto is our main lead, and he gives us some of the best performances in terms of voice acting in a fantasy anime. He adds the right amount of intensity and elevates the characters. Yuuto is known for anime such as Bungou Stray Dogs, Boku No Hero Academia, Violet Evergarden, and so much more. He is also set to star in the second season of Vinland Saga, which will be released in the winter of 2023.

Overall Opinion

With a fresh take on generic and otherwise used tropes and cliches, it is worth checking out. It will give you a new perspective on the genre and make you enjoy it even more.
